After Labor Day revelers pack up their tents and go home, volunteers will be heading to Lake Nimrod in Yell and Perry counties and Blue Mountain Lake in Yell County, to pick up litter along the shoreline as part of the Great Arkansas Cleanup. The cleanup at Lake Dardanelle’s will be Saturday, Sept. 29. The statewide cleanup of lake and river shorelines, parks and roadways continues until Saturday, Nov. 24.
