FAYETTEVILLE — Jeff Long has spent three days in Arkansas his entire life, including Tuesday when he was announced as the Razorbacks’ next athletic director.

But those who have worked with Long - Pittsburgh’s athletic director since May 2003 - through the years said he’ll be a good fit for Arkansas and quickly make a comfortable transition to his new home and job.
